Paula Hawkins

Paula Hawkins was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She moved to London in 1989, where she still resides. She worked as a journalist for fifteen years before turning to writing. "The Girl on the Train" was her debut novel, translated into forty languages, and its film rights were sold to Dreamworks even before it was published.
