Katerina Dimoka
Katerina Dimoka spent her childhood between Piraeus and Livadeia. She graduated with honors from the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens, specializing in Linguistics, and holds a Master's degree in Teaching Greek as a Foreign Language. She first gained recognition in literature in the Short Story Competition of Elle Magazine (2000) and received an Honorable Mention for her fairy tale from the Women's Literary Society (2014) for "The Teacher of Colors." She is married, has two sons, and lives in Livadeia. She works as a philologist in a public school, where she both teaches and learns from the children every day. She believes that literature is a sensitive conduit that directly reaches the child's soul and allows itself to be carried away on its crystalline paths.
