Bente Kiilerich

Bente Kiilerich is a Professor of Art History at the University of Bergen, Norway. She studied Classical Archaeology and Art History at the University of Copenhagen, where she earned her master's and Ph.D. She has published numerous studies on Greek art from late antiquity and the Byzantine period, as well as on the classical tradition in contemporary art. She is a foreign member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters and also a former president of the Norwegian Committee for Byzantine Studies.
