
Shonda Rhimes
Shonda Rhimes is the critically acclaimed, award-winning creator and executive producer of the successful TV series Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and Scandal, and the executive producer of How to Get Away with Murder. Her writing credits include Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement, Crossroads, and Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. She holds a BA in English Literature with Creative Writing from Dartmouth College, an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and honorary PhDs from both institutions. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Rhimes now resides in Shondaland, a very real and very imaginary place that could be somewhere in Los Angeles. She is the mother of three girls.
