Stefan Klein

Stefan Klein (born 1965) is one of the most prominent authors of popular science books in the German language. He studied physics and analytical philosophy in Munich, Grenoble, and Freiburg, where he completed his doctoral thesis in theoretical biophysics. As a member of the editorial team at the magazine Der Spiegel, he distinguished himself for his journalistic work on scientific topics, for which he was awarded the Georg von Holtzbrinck Prize in 1998. His first book was published in 2000, followed by titles such as "Die Glücksformel oder wie die guten Gefühle entstehen" (2002), "Alles Zufall" (2004), "Zeit" (2006), "Der Sinn des Gebens" (2010), among others. His books have been translated into at least 20 languages.
