Dimitrios G. Diminas

Dimitrios G. Diminas was born in 1937 in Katerini, where he also resides permanently. He holds degrees from the Theological and Law Schools of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.), is a specialized Juvenile Curator, and possesses a German language certificate. He has served as a teacher in private high schools and technical schools, a Juvenile Curator at the Courts of First Instance in Kozani and Katerini, and a lawyer for the Katerini Bar Association. He has been actively involved in social activities as a founder, president, and member of cultural, charitable, and sports associations. Specifically, he served as President of the Katerini branch of the "Crime Prevention Organization," Founder and President of the "School of Parents - Open University" in Katerini, and the Cultural Association "Pampieriki Educational Union." He has been a speaker at national and international conferences in Greece on topics related to juvenile delinquency, drugs, marital issues, domestic violence, and more. His studies and articles on current legal issues, particularly those related to juvenile legislation, have been published in official legal journals (Penal Chronicles, Legal Tribune, Armenopoulos). He writes for daily and periodical press on current social issues. In 1978, he published his first book of essays titled "Where Are Our Youth Headed Today." He is married and the father of two children, Rania and Maria, both lawyers.
