John Keegan

British historian and journalist John Keegan (b. 1934) specializes in military history. From 1960 to 1986, he taught at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served as a visiting professor at Princeton University. A long-time contributor to the Daily Telegraph on defense issues, he also writes for the American news website National Review Online. Among the honors he has received is a knighthood. His works include: "The Face of Battle," "Barbarossa: Invasion of Russia, 1941," "Zones Of Conflict: An Atlas Of Future Wars," "The Second World War," "A History of Warfare," "Intelligence in War: Knowledge of the Enemy from Napoleon to Al-Qaeda," "The Iraq War," "The American Civil War," among others.
