Angela Duckworth

Dr. Angela Duckworth teaches Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. Awarded by the MacArthur Foundation in 2013, she has served as an advisor to the White House, the World Bank, professional NBA and NFL teams, and Fortune 500 companies. She is the founder and scientific director of the nonprofit Character Lab. She holds a degree in Neurobiology from Harvard University, a master's in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Her book "Grit," her first writing endeavor, remained on bestseller lists for months and was nominated for the Goodreads Choice Awards in 2016.
