Rachid Benzine

Rachid Benzine (Franco-Moroccan, born in 1971 in Morocco) is an Islamic scholar who works on a contemporary liberal interpretation of the Quran. He is a professor at the Institute of Political Studies in Aix-en-Provence and at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. He is also responsible for the Islam des Lumières series at Albin Michel publishing. He has authored numerous books on Islam.
