Popi Pantelaki

Popi Pantelaki was born in Athens to parents of Chian descent. She studied English Philology at the Kapodistrian University. She has worked in both public and private schools. Early on, she became involved in poetry and songwriting. Her poems have been published in literary magazines, anthologies, and newspapers. She has been recognized in poetry competitions and received first prizes for her poems: "Madman or Anarchist" from the Union of Greeks and "The Garden of Dreams" from the Society of Letters and Arts. The poetry collection "Paradise Birds on My Hat" is her first published work.
