Panagiotis Asimeonoglou
Panagiotis Asimenoglou was born in 1982 in Thessaloniki and grew up in Oraiokastro, Thessaloniki. He studied Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has since worked as a secondary education teacher. Although his great passion is Physics, he has delved into topics such as philosophy, religious studies, theology, psychology, art, and more for many years. His life philosophy embraces a practical Christianity enriched by various global traditions, such as Zen Buddhism (particularly the Vietnamese tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh), the Native Americans of North America, the peaceful movements of Mahatma Gandhi and Tolstoy, among others. He has authored three books: (a) "Like Cherry Blossoms: A Study in Samurai Zen," Daidaleos 2017, (b) "Breathing Exercises from the Sages of the East," Daidaleos 2018, (c) "A Jedi's Handbook: How Star Wars Can Change Your Life," iWrite 2019, and has contributed to the collective volume "Happiness and How to Achieve It," iWrite, 2018.
