
Stefanos Milesis
Stefanos Milesis is an author, columnist, historical researcher, and radio producer. He has delivered numerous lectures on topics of maritime and local history and tradition at schools, cultural associations, and other intellectual institutions. His articles have been published in newspapers and magazines such as "Kathimerini," "Documento," "Kontra," "Eleftheros Typos," and "LIFO," among others. He has been honored by associations in Piraeus and has collaborated on television productions like "Machine of Time," "The Hangouts," and documentaries for ERT. Since 2016, he has been elected President of the Philological Society of Piraeus. He is a member of the National Society of Greek Writers, the Piraeus Association, and the Maritime Museum of Greece. He has authored or contributed to the writing of ten (10) books, including maritime stories, tales of Piraeus, historical chronicles, and children's books. He is married to Eva Boyatzi and has two children, Eleftheria and Panagiotis. Since 2009, his website Pireorama.gr has been documenting the history of Piraeus. Since 2015, he has been narrating the city's history on Channel One through the show "Piraeus Stories."
