Delphine de Vigan was born in 1966 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. She is a novelist and screenwriter. Her novels include: "Jours sans faim" (2002), "Les Jolis Garcons" (2005), "Un soir de decembre" (2005), "No et moi" ("No and Me", 2007, Booksellers' Prize and adapted into a film by Zabou Breitman), "Sous le manteau" (2008), "Les Heures souterraines" ("Underground Time", 2009, adapted for television by Philippe Arell for the Arte channel), "Rien ne s'oppose à la nuit" ("Nothing Holds Back the Night", 2011, Fnac Prize, Grand Prize of the Readers of "Elle" magazine, and Prix Renaudot des Lycéens), "D'après une histoire vraie" ("Based on a True Story", 2015, Greek edition "Μια αληθινή ιστορία", Utopia, 2017, Prix Renaudot and Prix Goncourt des Lycéens, 2015, adapted into a film by Roman Polanski in 2017).
