Duncan Macmillan

Duncan Macmillan is an English playwright and theatre director. He first gained recognition through the Bruntwood Playwriting Competition at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, winning two awards in its inaugural year with his play "Monster," which was also nominated for the TMA Best New Play and the Manchester Evening News Best New Play Award. His most well-known works include "Lungs," "People, Places and Things," "Every Brilliant Thing," and "1984" (an adaptation of Orwell's book), among others. All are published by Oberon Books.
