Liu Cixin

Liu Cixin, born in 1963, is a representative of the new generation of science fiction writers in China and is recognized as its leading voice. He has won the Chinese Galaxy Award for eight consecutive years, from 1999 to 2006, and again in 2010. His representative work, "The Three-Body Problem," won the Hugo Award in 2015 and was nominated for the Nebula, Campbell, and the French Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire awards. His works have received global acclaim for their dynamic atmosphere and brilliant imagination. Liu Cixin is a member of the China Writers' Association and the Shanxi Writers' Association.
