Nikos Vitoliotis

Nikos Vitoliotis was born in Athens in 1971 and grew up in Piraeus. He studied Economics and European Culture and has worked in various jobs, such as a translator of French recipes, a factory worker, a security guard at concerts (his favorite job), a banker, and a public servant. As a student, he also gave private lessons for a while. He is married and has two children. He enjoys traveling both in real life and through his imagination. He describes himself as a passionate book lover and cinephile. He lives in Athens and, if he ever retires, he might settle permanently in Vitoli, where one of his ancestors is from. The novel "Forty-Something Summers" is his first published book, but he always keeps some half-finished manuscripts in his drawer.
