
Vasilis Tsiampousis
Vasilis Tsiambousis was born in Drama in 1953. He studied Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Thessaloniki. He lives and works in Drama. He has published the short story collections "The Vespa and Other Provincial Stories" (1988), "Cherubic on the Roof Tiles" (1996), "Sweet Bonora" (2000), "May Life Love You" (2004), "Salto Mortale" (2011), "Stuffed Cigars" (2017), and the novels "Away Game" (1993) and "Blue Cow" (2013). His short story collection "May Life Love You" was honored by the Academy of Athens with the Petros Haris Award and was translated into Albanian, while a selection of his stories was published in Spanish (Vasilis Tsiambusis, Antologia de relatos, 2019). In 1996, he curated the album "Doxa Drama, 1918-1965" and in 2006 the album "Elpis Drama, 1922-1969" (published by DEKPOTA of the Municipality of Drama). Since 2004, he has been the director of the magazine "Diodos 66100," which received an honorary distinction from the Ministry of Culture (2017). His stories have been translated into many languages and published in anthologies and magazines.
