Clare Mackintosh

British author Clare Mackintosh worked in the police force for twelve years, a career she left in 2011 to work as a social media consultant and journalist. She was also the founder of the Chipping Norton Literary Festival. She is now dedicated exclusively to writing. She lives in south-central England with her police officer husband and their children. Her first book, "I Let You Go," was a bestseller on the Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller lists and is being translated into more than thirty languages. Her second book, "I See You," was published in July 2016 and followed a similar successful trajectory.
