Haemin Sunim

Haemin Sunim is one of the most prominent Zen Buddhism teachers and authors in South Korea. His books have sold over three million copies and are popular as guides for meditation and dealing with the challenges of everyday life. Sunim was born in South Korea and went to the United States to study film, but eventually discovered his calling in spiritual life. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, Harvard University, and Princeton University, received monastic training in Korea, and taught courses on Buddhism at Hampshire College in Massachusetts. His followers on Twitter and Facebook exceed one million. When he is not traveling to teach, he resides in Seoul.
