Éric Vuillard

Éric Vuillard was born in 1968 in Lyon. He studied law, political science, and philosophy (under Jacques Derrida). He has published poems and novels and has directed two films. Among other accolades, he has been awarded the Franz Hessel Prize, the Alexandre-Vialatte Prize, and the 2017 Goncourt Prize for "The Order of the Day."
