Michalis Albatis was born in 1973 in Zaros, at the foot of Mount Psiloritis. Since the age of eighteen, he has lived in Heraklion, where, in his youth, he excelled in the circles of wanderers of loss and the aristocracy of the unseen. In 2018, he published his first novella, "Anna's Ass," by Apopeira Publications. His short story "The Man Who Cried" is included in the collection "Strange Days in Heraklion," published by Strange Days, 2018.
