Heather Morris
Heather Morris was born in New Zealand and resides in Australia. While working for many years at a large hospital in Melbourne, she studied and wrote screenplays, one of which was even selected by an Oscar-winning American screenwriter. In 2003, Heather was introduced to an elderly gentleman who "had a story that might be worth telling." Her meeting with Lale Sokolov changed both their lives. Their friendship blossomed, and Lale entrusted Heather with the most personal details of his life during the Holocaust. Initially, Heather wrote a screenplay based on Lale's story, which was highly regarded in international competitions. Eventually, she transformed the narrative into her debut novel, "The Tattooist of Auschwitz."
