Maria P. Papandreou
Maria Papandreou, daughter of Panagiotis, was born in Athens, where she currently resides. She holds a degree from the Athens Law School and practices as a lawyer. Alongside her legal studies, she attended private courses in theater studies, costume design, and journalism. She has been writing since her childhood, a habit she has maintained throughout her life. Her first fairy tales were written in the fifth grade of primary school. Since then, she has continued to write—mainly short stories, fairy tales, and young adult stories—for herself and her friends, often drawing from personal experiences. She is fond of ordinary people and everyday stories, and she eagerly listens to such tales whenever she gets the chance. She hopes that no story is ever lost, as she believes, like the late Umberto Eco said, that "memory is the soul"!
