Panos Amyras

Panos Amyras was born in Athens in 1966 and grew up in Thessaloniki. He studied Economic Sciences at the Athens University of Economics and Business but quickly turned to journalism. He began his career at the financial newspaper Express. In 1994, he joined the journalistic team of Eleftheros Typos, and since 2011, he has been the director of the newspaper. He has also worked at the ERA radio (First Program) and the City FM radio station. He is married and the father of two children.
