
John Lewis Gaddis
John Lewis Gaddis is a Professor of History at Yale University. He is among the leading historians of the Cold War, having authored pivotal books that influenced not only how Western states perceived the conflict between the Superpowers as it unfolded, but also the development of historical research and thought on the Cold War after the fall of the Iron Curtain, thanks to their clear analysis and critical insight. In 2012, John L. Gaddis won the Pulitzer Prize in the Biography/Autobiography category for his book "George F. Kennan: An American Life."
