Dimitris CHristodoulou

Dimitris Christodoulou is a professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology. He is also a member of the institution's Board of Directors. Born in Thessaloniki, he studied Economic Sciences at the Higher Industrial School of Thessaloniki (now the University of Macedonia). He continued his postgraduate studies (D.E.A) at Paris VIII-Vincennes University, where he also earned his Doctorate. His professional experience includes: - Scientific Staff Member and later Director of Balkan Relations at the Hellenic Productivity Center – ELKEPA (15 years). - Vice President initially (2 years) and then President and CEO (5 years) of the Public Gas Corporation of Thessaloniki (EDA S.A.). - Vice President of the Gas Supply Company of Thessaloniki (EPA S.A.), which was established following an international tender for the distribution of natural gas (2 years). His academic experience includes: - Scientific Researcher at Paris VIII-Vincennes University (2 years). - Special Scientist in the Department of Economic Sciences at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (4 years). - Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of the University of World and National Economy in Sofia (3 years). - Visiting Professor in the Department of International and European Economic and Political Studies at the University of Macedonia (1 year). He has also served as: - Special Advisor at the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace (2 years). - Special Advisor at the Ministry of Commerce (1 year). - Board Member of the company BIOVALV AEBE (3 years). - Member of the International Tender Committee for selecting private investors in EPA Attica, Thessaloniki, and Thessaly. - Board Member of the Thessaloniki Port Authority - OLTH S.A. (3 years). He has participated in and led research programs and studies, presented at Greek and international scientific conferences, and has a significant number of publications. His scientific writing includes eleven (11) other scientific books.
