Georgios Leledakis

Georgios Leledakis
George Leledakis, son of Georgios, was born and raised in Rethymno, Crete. He resides in the village of Atsipopoulo. At 15 years old, he hails from the Theomitoriko mountain village of Myriokefala, west of Rethymno. He is the eldest son in a large family with four siblings: Stylianos, Eleni, Despina, and little Loukas. George attends the first year of high school at Atsipopoulo General High School. He takes iconography classes at the Church of Saint Charalambos in Galo, Rethymno. He is a member of the theatrical group of the Metropolis of Rethymno and Avlopotamos and a leader at the "Saint Paul" church camp of the Metropolis of Kydonia and Apokoronas in Chania. In January 2017, he was awarded at the first Orthodox Christian Children's Book Awards organized by the radio station of the Piraeus Church in the film category for his movie "The Holocaust of Arkadi" made with Playmobil, winning the first prize. His goal is for his peers—and not only them—to learn and love Orthodox Greek history through the comics and films he creates with the help of God.
