Manolis Fyssas
Manolis Fyssas was born in 1952 in Kardamyla, where he completed both elementary school and the Naval Gymnasium. He then attended the School of Engineering in Chios, graduating in 1973. From 1973 to 2011, he worked as a marine engineer, and since 2011, he has occasionally participated in small maritime missions. His travels, the living conditions in the third world, and his encounters with numerous people greatly influenced him, shaping his way of thinking, philosophy, and outlook on life. Additionally, his interactions with particularly esteemed individuals in the fields of art, thought, and environmental protection were of significant value and influence, most notably with the unforgettable multi-talented painter, engraver, poet, musician, and writer, Nikos Gialouris.
