Katerina Eyagelou - Kissa

Katerina Evangelou - Kissa was born and raised in Athens. She now permanently resides with her family in Mouzaki, Karditsa. She has been writing since she was a child, but only when her own child was born did she feel ready to share her words and images. She studied Sociology and Management Organizational Behavior. She speaks and writes English fluently and is making earnest efforts to learn Italian. She is also studying classical piano. From February 2015 to February 2016, she worked as an editor for the website tovivlio.net. Since March 2016, she has been the director of the literary website "Logografis" (www.logografis.gr). She has contributed to four collective publications: the short story collection "El Greco" (Rome, 2014), the anthology "Footprints in the Friends' Garden" (Gavrielides, 2015), the "Artistic Calendar 2016" (tovivlio, 2016), and the anthology "Harvesting the Dowry of Seasons" (Gavrielides, 2018). Her texts and poems have been published in the literary magazines "Emvolimon" and "To Koralli," as well as on numerous literary websites. In January 2018, the collective work "Christ is Born" (Ostria Publications) was released, followed by the collective work "Unsent Letters" (Elkystis Publications) in October 2019. These books were the result of an invitation she extended to fellow writers through the literary website "Logografis." In December 2018, her first book, a collection of short stories titled "Simple Stories of Poor People & Other Stories," was published.
