
Chris Hadfield
Chris Hadfield (Canada, 1959) is one of the most experienced astronauts in the world. He graduated with honors from the United States Air Force Test Pilot School in 1988 and was named U.S. Navy Pilot of the Year in 1991. Hadfield was selected by the Canadian Space Agency to become an astronaut in 1992. He served as CAPCOM for 25 shuttle launches of NASA's operations in Star City, Russia, from 2001 to 2003, was the Director of Robotics at the Johnson Space Center in Houston from 2003 to 2006, and was the Director of Operations for the International Space Station from 2006 to 2008.
