Eurycleia (Evi) Karagiannidou was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She is a graduate of the Department of Chemistry at the School of Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has completed her postgraduate studies in the same department. She has attended programs at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on topics such as "Management of Cultural Heritage in the Modern Era," "Museum and Child," and "Preventive Conservation of Artworks." Her research has focused on the conservation of paintings and archaeological finds made of fabric, ceramic, glass, mosaic, fresco, metal, paper, marble, and stone. She has published 21 papers in scientific journals and has been writing books and fairy tales as a hobby for the past two years. She has participated in various conferences and seminars in Greece and abroad and is a member of both the Greek and English sections of the International Institute for Conservation (IIC) and the Association of Greek Chemists.
