
Marin Ledun
Maren Leden was born in 1975 in Aubenas, southeastern France. He studied economics and information and communication sciences. From 2000 to 2007, he worked at France-Telecom, from which he resigned due to deteriorating working conditions. He has published more than ten noir novels, all of which tackle contemporary issues, discussing the limits of progress, the modern crisis, and its social consequences. He has been honored with significant awards, including the Mystere de la critique 2011 for "The Vanity War," the Trophee 813 for Best Novel 2011, and the Grand Prix for Detective Novels at the Beaune Festival 2011 for "Visages écrasés," the Plume Libre 2008 for "Modus Operandi," the Amila-Meckert 2014 for "L'Homme qui a vu l'homme," and the Transfuge for Best Detective Novel 2016 for "En douce."
