George Hrabovsky

He is a "professional" amateur scientist. For nearly thirty years, he has studied astronomy, atmospheric science, biochemistry, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, microbiology, and physics. Today, he conducts research in theoretical physics, mathematical physics, computational physics, compact objects (black holes, gamma-ray bursts, neutron stars, and white dwarfs), gravity (classical and quantum), quantum computing, dynamical systems theory, hurricane physics, microbiology, biochemistry, and many other fields.
