Giorgos Voiklis

Born in Kastania, Samos in 1945, the author has been residing in Athens since 1958. He completed his studies at a night high school and pursued film studies. Throughout his career, he has worked in various manual professions and, since 1987, as a journalist for newspapers and magazines. Actively involved in social struggles since 1962, he has been a leading figure in the ecological movement and consumer protection movement since 1974. Since 2000, he has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Social and Cultural Intervention Group of Samos and the director of the magazine "Methorios of the Aegean." Since 1974, he has published ten books, five of which are literature for young adults.
