
Giorgos Mpramos
Giorgos Bramos (1952-2019) was born in Tripoli. He studied Law and Film in Athens and Italy. He worked as a journalist and film critic for newspapers and magazines. He served as the director of news at ERT and was the director of the Greek program at Mega for several years. He collaborated on the scripts of films such as "It Was a Quiet Death" by Frida Liappa, "Good Homeland, Comrade" by Lefteris Xanthopoulos, "Kloios" by Kostas Koutsomytis, "Xenia" by Patrice Vivancos, "Terra Incognita" by Yiannis Typaldos, among others. He wrote essays on cinema and published short story collections "Wet Clothes" (1993), "White Beards" (2006), and "Between the Walls" (2017), as well as the novels "Ochi Chernigya (Black Eyes)" (1999) and "The Wolf's Lie" (2013). He passed away after a sudden illness on August 14, 2019, at the age of 67.
