
Sally Rooney
Sally Rooney was born in 1991 in Castlebar, Ireland, and studied at Trinity College Dublin. Her literary works have been published in Granta, Dublin Review, The White Review, The Stinging Fly, and the anthology Winter Pages. "Conversations with Friends" (2017) is her debut novel. It was awarded the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award and was selected as Book of the Year by the Sunday Times, Observer, and Telegraph. In 2018, her second novel, "Normal People," was published and was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. It also won the Best Novel award at the Irish Book Awards and the Costa Book Award.
