Satoshi Kitamura

Satoshi Kitamura was born in 1956 in Tokyo. He began working as a designer in 1979. Today, he lives in London and is one of the most award-winning authors and illustrators of children's books. Among other accolades, he has received the Best Illustration Award in Japan and the Mother Goose Award, and he was nominated for the Smarties Prize in 2000.
