Giannis Ladakis

Giannis Ladakis was born in 1992 in Ptolemaida. He completed his studies in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the summer of 2017. His engagement with writing emerged naturally from the inquiries and reflections he developed through studying the significant inherited ideas of classical and contemporary authors. He writes daily and has already produced a notable collection of unpublished works that span nearly all literary genres (poetry, novels, short stories, essays, novellas). His aim, as evident in his writing style, is to awaken both himself and others, integrating himself into the collective of human masses who feel suffocated by confining their lives to the artificial world of spectacles and impressions. In 2015, he published his award-winning novella "The Traces of Mist," which quickly received encouraging reviews from the Panhellenic Union of Writers.
