
Germaine Greer
Germaine Greer was born in Melbourne in 1939. She studied English and French philology and literature, earning her degree from Cambridge with a thesis on Shakespeare. She is a professor of English and Comparative Literature, teaching at universities in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. She has been one of the most prominent figures in the global feminist movement.
