Athanasios G. Kaisis

Associate Professor Athanasios G. Kaissis studied law at the University of Thessaloniki and, as a DAAD scholar, at the University of Heidelberg. He holds a doctorate from the University of Heidelberg and is a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Greece. For several years, he was a research associate at the Institute of Private International and Foreign Economic Law at the University of Heidelberg. Since 1978, he has been teaching Civil Procedural Law at the Law Department of the University of Thessaloniki. He has taught legal terminology in community seminars in Luxembourg and Brussels, at the former Translation and Interpretation Center in Corfu, as well as within the framework of the Erasmus Community program at the Universities of Thessaloniki and Hanover.
