Peter Carnavas
Peter Carnavas was born in Brisbane, Australia, in 1980. He studied Media before becoming a primary school teacher. He has organized cartoon workshops for children, painted murals in schools, and developed an online companion journey with his students at the International Grammar School in Sydney, which was honored with the Education Queensland Showcase Award. His first book, "Jessica's Box," was shortlisted for the Queensland Premier's Award in 2008 and the CBCA Crichton Award for New Illustrators in 2009. Since then, he has written and illustrated numerous books, which have been translated into German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch. He lives in Queensland with his wife and their two daughters.
