Caroline Kepnes

Caroline Kepnes was born and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. After graduating from Brown University, she lived in New York City, writing about pop culture for Tiger Beat and Entertainment Weekly. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a screenwriter for episodes of the TV series 7th Heaven and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. In addition to "You," she has also written the books "Hidden Bodies" and "Providence." The successful Netflix series You is an adaptation of her novel of the same name, while its sequel is based on her novel "Hidden Bodies."
