CHristos Samantas

Christos Samantas was born in 1949 in Lygaria, Fthiotida. He studied Physics and worked as a teacher and high school principal in public schools. He received further training in pedagogy and other subjects both in Greece and abroad. Through unionism and other movements, he participated in long-standing social and ecological struggles. An incurable dreamer without reservations, alongside his teaching career, he actively engaged in numerous fields, emphasizing activities in intellectual life, volunteering, ecology, theater, music, silversmithing, journalism, and more. He participated in writing teams for educational books, magazines, and newspapers, where he regularly contributes articles. He lives and thrives in Edessa, feeling like an active citizen.
