Mark Woolmer

Mark Woolmer, one of the distinguished emerging scholars in Phoenician history within the Anglo-Saxon realm, is a research fellow at the School of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University. His research focuses on the social, political, religious, and economic history of ancient Phoenicia, the maritime history of the ancient Mediterranean, the economy of Athens in the 4th century BC, as well as the literature and material culture of Syro-Palestine.
