Giouli Tsakalou

Born in Alexandria, Egypt, the homeland of Cavafy, the poet of her heart. She attended Averoff High School in Alexandria and the Law School of Athens. For several years, she worked as an executive at the shipping company 'LIBERTY MANAGEMENT S.A.' Since 2011, she has maintained one of the oldest book-loving groups on Facebook, named 'Book-Presentations-Reviews,' with a significant contribution to the book community. Many authors who have left their mark on Greek and foreign literature have granted her interviews. She writes for the newspaper "Athens Voice" and the online magazines for books and culture "Diastixo" and "Fractal."
