
Eya Mazokopaki
Eva Mazokopaki was born in Chania, Crete. She studied on a scholarship at the Department of Classical Studies at the School of Philosophy of the University of Crete. She lives and works in Chania, where she practices as a philologist at her own tutorial center for theoretical studies, "Protoporia," in her hometown. She is also involved in writing school books, poetry, and literature. She was awarded the first prize in poetry at the Pan-Cretan Literary Competition "Kriton Logos 2019" for her poem "Conquest of the Soul." Additionally, she was recognized in the 4th Panhellenic Poetry Competition of the Spartou Library in 2019 with her poem "Dark Roofs." "The Rage of the Blind River" is her first novel, written with respect and appreciation for her readers.
