Dimitris P. Panagiotopoulos

Dimitris P. Panagiotopoulos has received the Distinguished Service Award in the field of sports law (2010) from the "International Biographical Institute of Cambridge" and the "Man of the Year in Law" Award (2009) from the "American Biographical Institute (INC)". In 2005, he received the highest scientific distinction with the international scientific award from the Sports Law Center of the Law School of the University of Johannesburg. In 2004, he received an honorary plaque from the Pan-Cyprian Association of Physical Education and Sports Science. A few years earlier, in 1996, he also received an honorary plaque from the Hellenic Federation of Australia. Finally, he was awarded a gold medal by the Panhellenic Association of Sports Journalists for his sports writing in 1987 and 1992.
