THemos Potamianos

Themos Potamianos was born in Anomeria Livaraton, Kefalonia, in 1895. He studied at the Hellenic Naval Academy and became a financial officer in the Navy. He retired in 1935. His work primarily focused on depicting the lives of sailors, fishermen, and the maritime world. He passed away in Athens in 1973 and was buried in his hometown.
