Lawrence Wright is a staff writer for The New Yorker and the author of ten non-fiction books, including "In the New World," "Remembering Satan," "The Looming Tower," "Going Clear," "Thirteen Days in September," "The Terror Years," and "God Save Texas," as well as his novel "God’s Favorite." His books have received numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for "The Looming Tower." He has also written plays and screenplays for film and television and plays keyboards in a blues band in Austin. He lives with his wife in Austin, Texas.
