Maria Mayroudi - CHoustoulaki

Maria Mavroudi was born in Heraklion, Crete. She studied at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Crete and holds a Master's degree in Unified Special Education from the European University of Cyprus. She has taught as a General Education teacher in primary schools in the Heraklion region. For the past two years, she has been teaching in a Special Education Integration Department at an elementary school. In collaboration with other educators, she authored a seminar on Special Education, focusing on Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia, for EEPK. Additionally, in recent years, she has served as the deputy principal at the same school. She is proficient in English. Her interests include Creative Writing, for which she is attending an online seminar, as well as Journalism. She is involved in writing children's fairy tales, mantinades, and poetry, for which she has received awards in Literary Competitions, and her stories have been included in various Anthologies. She contributes articles to some local and nationwide websites on a wide range of topics. She is a member of the Administrative Council of the Faiestos Educators' Association, where she serves as Treasurer, and she is also the secretary of the Athletics Club. She volunteers at the Community Tutoring Center in the Moirai area.
